Joseph, together with his brother Samuel Russell, founded DreamWalk in 2008 without any financial backing, when the mobile apps industry was in its infancy. After almost two years in development, the DreamWalk iPhone application was finally released to the American public on March 1st of this year. This initial trial focused on the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and New York, and the response was far greater than Joe and Sam had expected. During the month long trial, over sixty five thousand iPhone users participated in the hunt. DreamWalk quickly reached the top 100 apps in the US, peaking at 63, ahead of the EBay and MySpace apps and was even featured by Apple.
